Bhajji... Costliest slap..

Bhajji.. We all supported you during the Australian tour.. But you have let us down by slapping sreeshant in one of the IPL encounters. You have given yet another opportuniy to Australian media, who can extract milk out of water.

The slap costed you more than 3 crores!!.. 11 match IPL ban and 5 match ban by BCCI..

slapgate

All these incidents are really a shame on the people who backed you during tough times.. Indian cricket needs people who are agressive like you, but with controlled temper... We wish to see you back soon..

India Vs Australia - 2nd Finals..

where to begin?... History has been created by the Men in Blue...
My congrats to team India for winning against the world champions...

A few words to Aussies...
Hayden -> In which hole are you hiding?.. Brisbane radio is calling you... India never lost matches against you.. It was Team India which stopped your continous 16 match test victories... It is now team India, which did beat you at home turf!! Please feel ashamed of your character! Players of your calibre must be a living example...

Gilly - what a pitty? what is there to feel proud about your team mates? They have let you down in all means... "You cannot be honest always, becuase honest people are screwed the most".. It's is a Chanayakan quote...

Ponting -> Time to take rest... you are not undisputed cricketer anymore..

Symonds -> I still have lot of respect for you... I want you to play cricket... After all your are going to play for India in IPL... Mould your character ... we will forgive you!

Hopes -> You were the final hope for Australia in the finals..

A final word to Australian Media-> Just Shut up!

India Vs Australia Finals - CB tri series 2008

Its just a day more - for the much awaited final encounter between India Vs Australia. All the best India. Gilly considered the dead rubber match between Aussies and Lankans as finals and eventually lost it. Aussies are already one down in the finals, according to Gilly.Good omen for Indians!

Aussies would give their best to bid a grand farewell to Gilly. One would never forget Gilly for his great display of character and attitude on-field. A notable character is that, he never waits for umpire's decision if he knows that he is out. All the professional players must acquire this character from Gilly.

On the other hand, after a series of shameful events between Indians and Australians, Indian tigers need a series victory to shut the Big mouths of Australians and especially the Australian media.

The Brisbane radio interview asks Hayden "Why are they(Indians) so sensitive? Why dont they shut their mouths and play cricket?"

" Hey you!.. We are indeed playing cricket and cricket only... We are not professional sledgers like you. Just revisit your history of sledging, you will know the epicenter" .

Hayden, You please thank God that CA has left you with reprimand, Why do you act innocent? Your intentions were clear in the Interview. Why don't you concentrate on cricket and stop giving b*** s**** interviews about Indians? First you see your own backyard, when you ask others to do so!"

Thanks to Aussies for treating their hosts at their best in the current series. Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the Aussies tour to India. Just one match in Kolkatta, we will give back the heat to you. "Australia - You have started another Ashes with India".

The odds are evenly poised for India Vs Australia. The three fixtures to be held on March 2, 4 and 7(if required) are much awaited between Ind and Aus in the cricketing history.

My Indian Team for the Finals:-
1. MS Dhoni
2. Sachin Tendulkar
3. Robin Uthappa
4. Yuvraj Singh
5. Rohit Sharma or Manoj Tiwary
6.Irfan Pathan
7. Gautham Gambhir - The man in form!
8.Ishant sharma - Who had Australians on a run this summer!
9.Harbhajan Singh - Would love to see him pick the wickets of Symonds, Hayden and Ponting!
10.Sreesanth or Munaf
11. I leave it to Mahi.

India - We will win! We will win! We will win!
All the best! 1 billion fans and 1 billion wishes are with you.. I know you always keep us high!!

Hayden abusing Bhajji

Thanks to Hayden.
"Hayden you have started a cold war between Indian cricket fans and Australian cricket team".
Hayden -> " why did we lose the sydney cricket test?" Was it because of brilliant batting display?
Hayden - > "Did you win Perth test match?"
Hayden -> "Did you win the first match(leaving the first two matches abandoned) of CB tri-series"?
Hayden - > "Australians have never won a series on Indian soil for about decades."
Do you want some more facts?

If you have so much against Indian " Why are you playing IPL?"... cos it has Indian as starting letter...

India Vs Australia - Yet another incident - CB tri series

It was I vs A ---> Ishant Vs Andrew. Yet another brilliant batting display by the Aussie - the current world champs. No wonder if they go ahead and win this match.
It does not matter whether India has won or lost the match. It matters whether they have displayed attitude in the field. India has won over the Australians in terms of attitude. 299 in reply to 317 is a moral victory for Indians.
Who provoked first? Is it Ishant or Symonds?.. All the cameras in any angle, any direction, any day, any time shows it was Symonds and Indeed Symonds.. Symonds is the root cause for all the chaos...
A re-visit on Aussie on-field behaviour
India has won the match in all terms!!.. Come on India.. we are with you!! You are the true champs!
Ishant fined under clause 1.6 of ICC code of conduct.

IPL & Lalit Modi

Money Inc!

Revolution in the Indian cricket history!! IPL - the three letter costliest word in Indian cricket history!

Lalit Modi, vice-president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the mastermind behind the IPL. Is it yet another Moditva magic? I am sure, there is something special about the name. Keeping politics apart, let us give a standing ovation to the mastermind, Lalit Modi, for taking IPL into largest possible way and making IPL comparable to EPL(English premier league - Football).

A focus on Indian batting - CB tri-series- Feb 19

Feb 19th - India Vs Srilanka - CB tri series.

It has been a elusive victory for the Indian team, down under, chasing a target of 239 set by Sri lankans.
Is 239 a target, which is hard to get by the swashbuckling Indian batting order? With star players like Sachin, Yuvi, Uthappa, Gambhir, Mahi and Rohit Sharma in the side, is 239 still a stiff target?

Yuvraj, Mahi and Irfan saved the match and drove the Indians to victory. What would have been the situation if any of the three failed to get some valuable runs? Well, it would have been another low scoring misery for India. It has been a pure team effort to win this match in 49.1 overs.

Thanks to the Indian pace attack for containing the Lankans under 239. A very good comeback for Munaf Patel with 2 maidens out of his 9 overs, but let me highlight the batting of Munaf in the previous match against Australia. The ball was driven to covers by Ishant, an easy single, Ishant is running towards non-strikers end and Munaf is waiting for Ishant to reach!!! " Munaf, this is not gully cricket, you are playing for Mother India, be a SPARTAN and fight until the last ball". A poor display of attitude and discipline by Munaf. I wish Robin Singh, the current Indian fielding coach, had made a note of it and taken action.

Coming back to the central issue, What has gone wrong in this hard earned victory? When are we going to bat with elegance?

The need of the hour is batting consistency and a genuine all-rounder. Who has replaced Kapil Dev and Manoj Prabhakar ? Where is our focus now in domestic cricket? If billions can be invested by the money rich board to play 20-20, it can invest some lakhs to bring technology to improve the batting consistency and bowling efficiency. People wonder if cricket is still, going to be a game of chance.

I wish I write a blog with " Emphatic victories for India".
